Mickey Mouse Club Serials
What's Here?
The most popular part of the Mickey Mouse Club was the third quarter hour, given over to serials, both fictional and documentary. Serials came in two types: the longer dramatic stories, which were very popular, and the short five-episode educational series, which were not. While many viewers have fond memories of the former, the latter are largely forgotten today.
This section will focus on the more popular fiction stories, each of which will have it's own page. The educational and semi-documentary serials are grouped on a single page ("Short Serials") for the first two seasons; the format was abandoned in the third season. There are also single page profiles for those leading actors who appeared in more than one serial, and a group page for minor players.
