For the 50th Anniversary of the Mickey Mouse Club in 2005 the NFFC (now the DFC) asked Nancy Abbate to recreate the daily roll call dances at their convention. Nancy adapted the choreography to suit the open area of the convention hall, and quickly taught some of her dance students to perform the numbers. (She had a very short lead time to prepare this). The complete show ran about thirty minutes, and included a variety of acts by Nancy's students of all ages. It also had surprise guests Cheryl Holdridge and Doreen Tracey. The father of one young dance student shot this video, which has been cut down here to less than eight minutes. The young performers are dance students of all skill levels, including quite a few beginners, but they all displayed a lot of enthusiasm in volunteering for this.
